Dementia Care

The team supports initiatives from Welsh Government to work with health and social care colleagues on making Wales dementia friendly. We do so by promoting and developing care and interventions that: offers improved access, a timely response, early assessment and diagnosis. 

This includes initiatives that are co-produced with people living with dementia, their carers and families. These initiatives support the person throughout the care journey of living with dementia, building on partnerships and relationships. We aim to offer the best quality and provision of evidence-based interventions and facilitate good practice being spread across Wales.
