Emergency Laparotomy Cymru

This three year programme of work focusses on improving surgical outcomes and also the experience for patients undergoing an emergency laparotomy (a surgical operation for people with severe abdominal pain) in Wales. It follows the Emergency Laparotomy Collaborative UK model and started in 2018.
