The Healthy Working Wales (HWW) programme aims to support and encourage employers to create healthy working environments, take action to improve the health and wellbeing of their staff, manage sickness absence well and engage with employees effectively, all of which can help to achieve a range of positive business and organisational outcomes.
Healthy Working Wales are committed to developing a new model of delivery to meet the needs of employers in Wales. The Corporate Health Standard (CHS) and Small Workplace Health Awards (SWHA) handbooks will continue to provide useful guidance for businesses to follow during this interim phase. Any workplaces working towards the CHS/ SWHA awards or Enhanced Status Check, can be reassured the content of the mental health and wellbeing sections will make a valuable contribution when the time comes to take part in the new Healthy Working Wales delivery model.
