Alert level 2: guidance for employers, businesses and organisations

This Welsh Government document is intended to provide the essential information needed to help businesses, employers and other organisations or institutions meet the legal obligations they are under to minimise the risk of people being exposed to, or spreading, coronavirus on their premises.

The guidance document above applies to Wales. For the rules or guidance in the other parts of the UK, please visit the sites for England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Potential reasonable measures action cards (Coronavirus)

These action cards provide advice on measures that are likely to be reasonable to take to minimise the risk of coronavirus at tourism and hospitality premises.

They should be used in conjunction with current Welsh Government regulations and other (more general) guidance

Tourism Industries

Visit Wales has worked with the other national tourism organisations on a UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark to provide reassurance as the sector works towards reopening.

The We’re Good To Go industry standard and supporting mark means businesses can demonstrate that they are adhering to the respective Government and public health guidance, have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment and checked that they have the required processes in place.

The scheme is free to join and open to all businesses across the industry.

To obtain the mark, businesses must complete a self-assessment through an online platform including a check-list confirming they have put the necessary processes in place, before receiving certification and the We’re Good To Go mark for display in their premises and online.
